Client Review on Park Community FCU

Very disappointed, after years of doing business with this credit union. Today I discovered my account had been hacked. I went directly to the bank to resolve the issue. All the teller could do for me was cancel my debit card and have a new one issued. She then gave me a paper with what she referred to as "our fraud department", that I had to call and dispute the charge. I informed her that was what I was doing there. She insisted that they could not handle it there and never offered to refund me the "overdraft fee" that I had been charged. So after waiting for a person at "our fraud department" for about 35 minutes, I was informed that I was not speaking with anyone from Park Community Credit Union, It was a third party contractor who handles fraud claims for the bank. I was also informed that he could do nothing about the "overdraft fee", that I had to take that up with the local bank. So back to the bank I go because I know all too well how their phone system works and getting to a person would mean I could drive to the bank sooner. AGAIN, I informed the same teller that I was no better off than when I was there before and I wanted to speak to the manager. The manager was nice, but already informed that I was not a happy camper. I relayed to her all of what had happened. I felt like I was talking to a robot. Just a well prepared speech is all I really got. She did refund me the "overdraft fee", but as for the money taken from my account fraudulently, WELL THAT HAS A 14 DAY TURN AROUND TIME". I ask if they advertised as a "full service bank", her answer was Yes. Well that is a lie. You are not full service if you cannot assist with all the banking needs on site. I have spent the day, researching local banks, and I am glad to report that several banks do a "COURTESY" deposit for their customers who have been victims of fraud until the matter is investigated and resolved. In other words, they never leave a customer in a bind and certainly don't hand them a piece of paper to basically call and figure it out yourself. I feel like the teller misrepresented the number I was calling. I feel like I spent my time doing a bank employees job. As I stated at the beginning, I am so disappointed. I have recommended this bank to others in the past, but never again. I will be moving on to a "FULL SERVICE BANK". Just want to add, as of Jan. 15th, the issue is not resolved. Money has not been returned to my account. Other banks would have done a "courtesy deposit".
