For years my boyfriend has been coming here to purchase tools, I came in myself on August 13 at 4:45 to pawn a couple tools. There was 2 people in line in front of me. The lady at the desk was flustered and jumping between the 2 guys in front of me. out of no where a man came in and gave an offer on a couple jewelry items and she began negotiating with him and ignoring everyone else. He then realized he accidentally cut the line and while apologizing to us she loudly states "everyone else can wait". After this happened she looks up at me (still not finished with the 2 guys in front) and asks what I needed. I point to my tools and tell her I'm looking for a loan she then states very loudly again "we don't take Craftsman so don't bother".The lack of efficiency blew my mind. She was so disrespectful to everyone there and just flat out rude. Both myself and my boyfriend won't be back and as long as she is behind that counter I'm not the only one who won't be coming back.

My first experience with them. At beginning all was well as they have a pretty god inventory of things I like so what happened is I went from a buying client to a loan client. They didn't like that too well. After saving thier bacon with a client that was looking to purchase a fair,y decked out Glock 17. Inadvertently it had a high capacity mag. Apparently any gun dealer can buy those but not sell them to the general public. Julie is the lady whom I share a birthday with. Interesting she checked the stones in this very nice vintage wedding band only to find that they are man made stones. It had just gone through a complete evaluation / appraiser by a proficient lady in Fashion Island. After insisting she allow me the opportunity of testing the stones they came out correct. She gave me 50 less what i'd asked on the loan. Went back to she if I could sell the piece and was treated like a burlap sack full of fiches. Ok if that's the way you wantot treat a man with the d]same birthday. Fine! ALL MY BUSINESS goes to AMERICA JEWELRY AND LOAN. Name says it all.

before going into this shop I called on the phone to confirm that they buy electronics iPad to be precise 6th generation the lady went into a long-winded explanation about she can't buy it over the phone and I tried and tried to stop her to say hey I'm on my way in with it I'm just asking if you do business in them she wouldn't be quiet long enough to catch that. uponupon entering the pawn shop it looked to me to be very disheveled and in need of some real organization it was run down and I would be very concerned about leaving any product of mine behind in such a environment. then I was told to put my iPad down on a plyboard bench a step away from me I put it down I stepped away and 5 seconds later I was told can I help you let's see that I just really think this pawn shop is a joke I wouldn't go in there ever again in my life

Great staff...super friendly & knowledgeable. I got a high price for the items I sold. The store was clean & organized. I have gone here a couple of times now and will return in the future. Thank you!

Our family has had good experiences here. I mean, really, it's a pawn shop, not Nordstrom or Tiffany's. The owner is a great guy, and they are fair and honest. We have been happy with outcomes.

I called the shop to ask two simple questions about their location and hours, the woman on the phone was SUPER RUDE and totally condescending. I've got some choice expletives and descriptors that I'll pass on since kids might see this, but needless to say I didn't think even bother going in. If they were That rude, and unprofessional on the phone to a prospective customers I can only imagine how they would treat people in person, and God forbid you're trying to get a loan. I decided I'd just wait until tomorrow and go to the one on 17th St and Tustin. They have always been respectful, nice, and PROFESSIONAL. Whoever owns this place shouldn't let that girl even Touch the phone ever again. *C. *U. *Next. *Tursday fer sure!
