Telephoned and spoke with the Manager regarding loan requirements and operating hours. It was stated operating hours for Saturday are 10 am to 2pm. I do not live far from the location and began to travel at 1:30pm. I telephone once more to ascertain location was open and it was. The manager then stated I would not be able to be assisted since it was passed 1:30 and there needs to be at least a half hour to process an application. No where on the location website does it state Applications for financial services are no longer accepted for processing a half hour before closing time. It was also stated by the manager she is not authorized to accrue over time. Being a manager myself in several industries, I do not recall being an hourly associate but salaried and over time does not apply. The capacity of management means one has to tend to customers whether it is 10 am or 1:59 pm if the customer is inside the physical location. Yes, some financial services may require more processing times and that is understandable. The Manager failed to set up the expectation and therefore walked a potential customer to a competitor. And I must state, the process was 15 minutes from beginning to end with money in my hand for a simple loan from the competitor. So thank you Check N Go, for handing me over to your competitor.
