Feedback:

Hidden fees, poor customer service

Feedback:

This a very well designed building. It has the classic northwestern colors like our Seahawks. Way to make it easy for the local boys to buy in. Cash, Monet.

DECEPTIVE PRACTICES – Numerica Credit Union issued a vehicle loan with a life insurance policy for my mother and step dad. My step dad passed, and the loan agent (Trevor) that initiated loan with us a year and half ago assisted with filing the death certificate. Trevor later called the house and let us know he just learned that the policy would only cover 25% of the loan value because he was over 70. My step dad was over 70 when Trevor sold him the policy and did not explain that to him, I was there. Trevor very plainly explained multiple times that if either of them died that the loan would be paid in full. At my request his branch manager (John - U-City Branch) called me. He made excuses and kept repeating that he stood behind his employee and knew that he would have fully reviewed the policy with us. I felt that I was not getting any help in resolving the issue so I asked John for the name of his Boss. He literally laughed at me and told me he stands behind his employee. I feel like Trevor was deceptive in selling them an insurance product that did not offer the protections he promised, he did not go over the terms of the policy or he would have known before this afternoon that the policy did not provide full coverage at his age. At a minimum these are deceptive practices.

I only had interaction with Taytum. She is an angel! I wanted to refinance my car after being discharged from a bankruptcy (1.5 years ago) Because my rate was at 10.67%. Ouch... My uncle uses Taytum for his business, and he suggested I go there. I went there yesterday 10-8-19 feeling like I could get it refinanced, but figured it’d be at about a 9.5% or so. I’m still, according to many lenders a “risk”. So I sit down with Taytum and I tell her my desires and she has a little more hope than I do with my situation. She collects data then runs my credit.... VIOLA! 6.27%! At this point I’m thinking this is too good to be true... But it gets even better. We’re cruising through my credit report and I’m letting her know that most CC I have are from when I was still in my Chapter 13 bankruptcy. I’m talking 29.99% apr with 99$ annual fees and 13$ a month maintenance fees. So she tells me about a balance transfer card that Numerica offers and instantly I jumped on it. Still , feeling unworthy at this point she runs the credit app and to my surprise I was approved for a hefty limit. She’s done even more than all of this but I’m writing a book right now. So, I’m short I’d say that my experience in just these 24 hours with this credit union has sort of blown my mind. I can breath again!

Feedback:

Do not use this credit union. Their system communication with your account will do nothing but screw you over. Seams like they have a $30 fee for everything. Save your money, stress and time and go someplace else

Feedback:

This bank Not personable and is very strict to their policies, and completely unreasonable even about a petty item, Example: I bought an 80k boat, and changed my insurance to have a lager deductible(by 500) to shrink my payments, this would save me 12k over the life of the loan, they chose to loose my business rather than overlook this, so I will be refinancing through my other bank

Right from the get-go in November, the "business" teller couldn't open a business checking for me because my Tax ID number wasn't what she needed. I called both the IRS and the Dept of Rev right after to confirm the numbers that I had. Came back to her and she still wouldn't budge. Maybe talk to a manager and get help?Anyways, even though with unpleasant experience, the account was opened.Stopped by last week to send a wire over to my manufacturer, and had to deal with the same "business" teller. She kept dabbling on the computer for 2-3 minutes and then said, "Wait here, I have to talk to someone about something". Literally, that's was she said!Waited for another 3-5 minutes as she was chatting to a gentleman in the back. After she came back, she said, "I can't help you with the wire, the funds are too new on the account and there's a chance they would be recalled back. Sorry! Come back next week to do a wire". That was all I was left with. Now, I understand you must follow your policies/regulations/reg c, e, etc, but the way you would talk to the customer is not how any bank would want you to talk to their customers. Made me feel like I was a crook, trying to cheat the system or rob the bank.I didn't catch her name. She was blonde, shoulder-length curly hair, a little on the chubby side. I will stop by again after the holidays and see how things will go.

Feedback:

The blonde Ashley has below average customer service. Her fake smile and attitude is always unappreciated. Always a displeasure dealing with her.

Feedback:

Always friendly and helpful every time. My grandson loves the kids game station there, and the cold water is a welcome treat when doing errands on a hot day. Great people!
