From start to even after purchasing our new home our experience with NOVA home loan has been horrific. The "over estimated" how much our home would be so our loan was for a higher amount than what it was actually worth. In doing this we had to jump through hoops just to get our money back. Now, even after already moving into our home, they don't allow electronic payments because they just sell your loan to a bigger bank 2 months down the line. Since they don't allow automatic payments for a online service, you have to send a check. I sent my check at the 1st of the month then called at the 10th asking why the funds still haven't been taken out. They said they would look into it and get back to me, they get back to me on the 15th, when the payment is due or I get a late fee, stating that I need to call their automated system, that they don't have the number for. Before I forget, get ready to redo your paperwork a million times for your loan, they will lose your paperwork over and over again. If you can, find another company.
