Not really happy that I can’t get through after 20 minutes on the phone. The message system sucks! After almost 30 years as a member, I would expect something better!!!

I have been a member of Northstar Credit Union since 1988. Fantastic staff always, great services, but what sets them apart is the commitment to Warrenville and surrounding communities. Staff volunteer for so many events in town, this organization is above all the rest of the banking institutions here.

Feedback:

Stay away from this credit union. They coach customer based on their perspective not to buy warranties or protection packages for their automobiles. They force customers to make decisions that are not in the customers best interest. Shame on this credit union for manipulating their customers for their own agenda. I will never do business or send customers here to do business in the future.

after being here for years i can see i am just a number to this bank..i cannot recommend them i had a clash with a couple employees if i would of been able to get the loan i needed i wouldnt of had to file chapter 7 ..after 4 years and crabby woman as customer service fielding calls we had enough, we love our new bank....

I bought a trailer from Rick's RV and they used Northstar to secure my loan (a year ago). I feel very lucky! 1st of all, the rates they offer are unbeattable (I even ended up using them again for a truck purchase, the whole process took 30min over the phone and email)! Now, the main reason of my review is Matt Bretz - outstanding customer focus and service. Seriosly, the easiest person ever, allways a follow up in a timely manner, friedly and helpfull. I cant be thankfull enough! Yes, again, rates are good, but Matt Bretz is the reason I will be recommending Northstar to all my friends.Online system/account set up is a bit tricky, but you do it once and done (with step by step help from the office staff over the phone), so I really dont understand bad reviews here...
