Even though I live in the greater Boston area, I chose to use North Brookfield Savings Bank for my mortgage and subsequent re-financing. The process was painless and there was never any surprises with needing extra documentation like I've experienced with other lenders-they got it right from the beginning of the application. I also have a home equity line of credit with them and have only experienced helpful and thorough help at the teller's window.
