If I could give ten stars I would. The entire staff is knowledgeable usually busy but they work together and look behind the issues at hand actually at the "big picture" awesome bank, I recommend to all friends and family!

Feedback:

If you want your loved ones bank account frozen when they are in extended care at the hospital, and if you want your POA paper work declined when 2 other banks approve it then bank with Nevada State Bank. As a Bonus if you want to be hung up twice as well as having your 91 year old Grandmother hung up on make sure to bank at the hardor island branch, and deal with the bank manager Irene!Our grandma is in a hospital care facility and can not visit a branch as they want. They had the cops come do a well visit at the house when they know she is at the hospital, the cop confirmed everything is fine. This resulted in Ilene (bank manager) freezing her debit card so now she can’t even get bills paid by phone. Late fees, and late charges are building up, and the bank could care less.Hopefully the Nellis and Stewart branch where she banks will help some. She just wants the unfrozen to pay bills. Then we will work with a lawyer to handle them turning down the POA that Bank of America and One Nevada Credit Union approved in no time.

This is the 2nd time I had trouble at Nevada State Bank. Closed my account back then, and never returned until today. This time they would not accept my check to deposit into someone else's NSB account. I don't appreciate wasting my time because of some inept minimum wage manager disapproving my check . Wasn't bright enough to know I have lots more money in that account than he makes in a year, and whatever he earns in a year is far more than he is worth. Long story short, I won't be going back to NSB. With all the banks out there, it's way too easy to find better. I tried to rate it only half star but am not sure how to do that. Anyone know how?
