I went to this branch on Fri 26/7/19, wanting to open an account after noticing nab ads on facebook relating to their no fee accounts. Upon entering the branch, i noticed 2 staff at the teller counters and one opposite behind a desk, and another behind an enclosed room. There were about 2 customers in the the bank. I was told to see the tellers, and upon enquiring i was told that inorder to open an account i needed to make an appointment, and no slot were available for the day. I mentioned mentioned that ive travelled from the riverland and the best offered was for them to contact the Pirie St branch to see if a slot was available. I declined the offer.On my way back home driving along Main North road, i noticed the nab signage at the plaza at Prospect, so I decided to have another go here. When i walked in i was instantly greeted by a gentleman behind the information counter, who was currently serving a customer. He said he would be a while but wanted to know what i was after. He asked if i had all my ID documents which i said yes and then he guided me to a computer terminal to open my account online, he was just behind me and i could just yell out if i needed help. The online process in branch was straight forward and he deopped by twice to check that i was also registered for both mobile and app banking. Once done a lady staff member at nab branch at prospect led me to the nab smart atm to demonstrate how i can deposit cash via the atm.Hope nab bank management can address the poor customer service at the King William St branch and a big thank you to the courteous and helpful staff at nab Prospect branch.
