We had opted for a small amount of gold loan under compulsion. Yesterday I went to take back the gold and asked for the amount payable. I was told by a Sikh employee the figure of 36686.00 but due to some incomplete formality, I went there again today and when I tried to pay the amount, the employee told me that the amount is 373773. I asked why so much of difference within less than 24 hours. He was clueless about the variation. I find Muthoot finance cheating their customers. Please be careful and approach a govt bank instead.
