Feedback:

I have been with motor city CU for sometime now and I absolutely love their service over my other financial institution. They have great customer service and always willing to answer any and every question. They are proactive in offering solutions and other programs to help your current financial situation if needed. The only bad encounter I had was with a banker (sits in office) who gave me a hard time about getting a direct deposit slip. He kept asking me why I would need it and if I’m aware I requested one before (who gives a F) it’s my account I can request how many ever direct deposit enrollment I want! Outside of that experience I have never had a negative experience here. I have built a great rapport with some of the bankers! Great establishment!

Do not open accounts with this Credit Union. You are limited to what you can take out of YOUR money! Customer service is awful! So many better options to do work and business with I have found. And I have had accounts with Motor City since high school. Over 17 years. What a waste of time. They have gone down hill. Take your business somewhere else!

PLEASE BEWARE- I have been a member of this credit union for over 40 years and had a great experience up until recently. Please BEWARE of dealing with this credit union. I have placed several calls to the VP, Marjorie Lockwood but she has refused to answer my calls. I am closing my account but I wanted the viewers to know that Motor City Co-op Credit Union practices unethical treatment of it's members. Please watch out for the monies that you deposit into your account. My advice- CHANGE YOUR FINANCIAL ESTABLISHMENT or they will steal or withdraw monies from your account. I don't want anyone else to experience what I have experienced. BE on the LOOKOUT for this CU. I am working on turning them into the Federal Authorities.

Just deposited money into my account thinking it would automatically go into my account like every other bank and credit union I’m the world and it tells me there’s a 5 day hold 😳 Literally for what. I bank with you guys and cash was deposited into my account. What is the hold for????? Their system has to be extremely outdated because when I called my mother and a couple of other family members to ask about deposits they advised there’s never a hold on cash. Need to switch to a bank or different credit union ASAP.

Don't bank at this CU. Rude tellers and the waiting on a Saturday morning is horrendous. Won't deposit third party checks and loans are a distant opportunity. I'm closing my account and moving back to Chase.

Everyone here is always super friendly. There aren’t too many locations so there is that, but any time that I come in here it’s always a super quick in and out. All the employees are always friendly and ready to help and assist us with anything. Another bonus is they always remember us! Love everyone here!

Very few locations. If you don't have literally unlimited time find a different bank. Atms are always broken. They make up dumb rules that other bank's dont have. It's like they enjoy wasting your time and gas money cuz you drive all the way there during business hours, and they make up a new way to inconvenience you. Sure there's lots of other ATMs but you can't deposit checks at other banks. The website and app look like they're from 2008
