For as man branches as they have you would think they would have more people answering phones for simple questionsI’ve been on hold for 10 minsMy other credit union is 1 branch and I’m never put on hold

We recently moved to Monroe county and needed a credit union. So far so good! It seems they don’t have certain app features that our old credit union had but that’s ok. Everyone has been super friendly too, unlike our old credit union.

I have been with them for years and do see a lack of consistent training in the last several years. They would have gotten 5 stars a few years back but the "newer" employees don't seem to compare to the ones that they used to have.

Very nice. Going to the bank intimidates me because I am newly an adult with more adult responsibilities than ever and they are extremely understanding of this and willing to take the time to explain things to me. I would like if their hours were more flexible for someone who works and goes to school out of town. Maybe one week night open late.

If I could give them less than one star I would. I am beyond fed up with this bank and the rude employees and rude customer service. I have had an account there for well over 10 years. I have 3 loans thru them. On a Wednesday I can set up say my house payment to come out on Friday. I get paid Thursday so the money will be there when it comes out, but they charge me overdraft fees on "pending" payments. Account will never get in the negative, but I'll have 3 overdraft charges on my account. This happens religiously. Most recently, I got a loan for a motorcycle. It took them 1 1/2 months to get me the payoff letter. Once I got it, and transferred the title, somehow the lien wasn't put on it. They kept calling wanting a copy. I get that they need the copy, but I work 6 days per week, 12 hour days, so sitting at the S.O.S. for 2 hours isn't at the top of my priority list. Mind you I've made the 3 payments on time so far and have never missed a payment on my other 2 loans. So this weekend I go to Cleveland for my nephew's wedding. I try to get gas and my debit card won't work. I had a little cash, so I used that. Tried to check into hotel and debit card is denied again. At this point I have no money, no food, no place to stay. I call MCCCU and I get told "we've been trying to get a copy of your title, so your account is frozen until we get it." I explain my predicament to the rude lady and she says, "I don't know what to tell you. Your account is frozen until we get the title." At this point I have no option but to turn around and go home. Which brings us to today. I sit at the SOS for 2 hours waiting. They say if it was their fault, it was, it's free to add the lien, but will take a day or two. Or, I could pay $20 to get an instant title. Well my account is still frozen so that's out. I then take the title to MCCCU, sign the paper for her to take it to the SOS and have the lien put on and give her the title. I ask if my account will be unfrozen. She says, "not until the lien is on it."YOU HAVE THE TITLE. YOU HAVE THE SIGNED PAPER TO ADD THE LIEN, AND YOU HAVE MY ACCOUNT STILL FROZEN!I left and went to Huntington Bank and opened an account. I'm done with MCCCU.They had no legal right to freeze my account. All my accounts are current and in good standing. Transferring everything to Huntington, filling a complaint with the Federal Reserve and never looking back.

Excellent facility. Good service and low credit card rates. I've been doing all my banking there for years.
