I have been an avid pawn shop browser for at least 30 years of my life. The goal? To buy myself a Grandfather clock. Now whether it was because i just never had the money or because I gave it up for a... never meant to be. I would always walk into Pawn shops looking for the "clock" I had in mind. It has to be old, with a moving sundial, Westminster chimes, but had to be within my price range. And for 30 years no matter where I went, City, town or country I would stop at Pawn shops and look but I never found. In 2018 I decide to go climb a volcano, and on my trip the driver carrers through a town called Black Diamond in WA, USA. Out of the corner of my eye a Green flash, with the word Pawn shop..... Damn I think, I missed it!!!! On the way home I tell my friend Danny " so maybe next time you don't pull a Michael Schumacher through that little town Black Diamond, I want to go into the flash of green I saw aka the Pawn shop. So we stop and in we go! I walk around, fairly quickly, I am looking as usual for a Grandfather clock... Nah I think highly unlikely that I world find it here, I start to leave and there in the corner, behind the counter I see it ........ Dark brown wood perfectly designed, brass weights, moving ship on rough seas sundial, clock. Perfect condition, perfect price.My heart skips a beat, it's not working, I ask, " does it work, does it play Westminster chimes? The owner comes on over, starts the pendulum, tick tock, and WAIT FOR IT..... WESTMINSTER CHIMES START TO DONG THROUGH!!!!!!!!!!! My heart stops, I look up my son watching me..... He hears it, I glance at my husband he hears it, seconds pass, my son looks at my hubby and then at the end of shop owner... And says " where do we pay?" Both men knew, they just knew, there was NO WAY we were leaving that shop minus the Grandfather clock!!!! So, problem number 2 - would it fit in Danny's car??? And we tried the good Lord knows we tried!!!! But alas it would not. My heart broke!!! To the rescue... Shaun the shop owner says he would deliver it for us, and within 7 working days , worst case scenario, two days later my clock had it's new home!!!! Shaun from Black Diamond you are a STAR!! You have made my DREAMS COME TRUE . Now it's up to John to clean and service the cogs and then the clock can be brought to life!!!!This clock was found by me in August 2018Paperwork for the clock is dated August 1972.My birthday? August 1971.... THIS WAS ALWAYS MEANT TO BE MY CLOCK HAPPY BIRTHDAY YO ME!!!!!!!!PS GREEN BUILDING AWESOME IDEA, IT CAUGHT MY EYE- THANK YOU!!!!

I bought an item from Xavier on Ebay, that I really wanted. He set me up immediately with a buy it now auction so I could buy it right away. It arrived today, professionally packed and in perfect condition. Very friendly honest communication, a good guy and would buy again if I see anything pop up there that I want. 10 stars!

Every time I walk in I'm greeted with a smile and I get the feeling that they genuinely care about how I'm doing. Very prompt with the service. They do a great job of explaining how the pawn loan process works. They always answer my questions before I ask them. Plus the selection of items they have is great. This is my hometown pawn shop because I live in Black Diamond. But, I guarantee if you come from anywhere you will be treated like your a good friend and neighbor from down the street. Great place!

Money man pawn is one of the best pawn shops around,they work with you to the fullest of there ability ,if you keep it 100 with them they will be 110 with you.plus they have cool stuff

Great shop with great service! Sean went above and beyond in assisting my uncle in purchasing a truck from his shop. So much so that he made the extra effort to drive 25 miles and deliver the Ford Ranger to my uncle. High recommended!

Bought a 2002 Honda Odyssey here. Pleasantly surprised to hear Christian radio playing as background music in a pawn shop. Nice and clean car with low miles. The car got small lot care and attention. It was detailed to look like new. I totally respect Sean. He was more than fair with me and it was clear he was trying to give me as good of deal as he could. His mechanic went over the car and found busted motor mounts and replaced them at their own expense so they didn't need to sell a car with an engine that is knocking around. I would not hesitate to buy from him again!Kind regards Bruce Pratt.

Had the best experience i can say i had at a pawn shop the staff was very helpful and understood that being compassionate can help those who need it. Didnt try to beat me down or barter to give me lower prices for my goods. Thank you guys so much you made my bad day. Seriously so much better thank you
