Was in the market for a chainsaw. Went to Mikell's. The sales guy did not try to sale me something that I didn't need or want. He ask specific questions and he suggested the right chainsaw. I was looking to spend about $50 more. The sales guy save me that $$. Instead he told me to get a grease gun for the bar, which was under $10.They know that they are talking about! I've done business with them 3 or 4 times since.

Place is buzy all the time, staff is great , quality work , and parts are a little high but they always have the part(s) you need on the shelf so I dont mind the extra $$$$, it's a one stop shop!!!!!

Most expensive, overpriced shop in town. 2-3 days for repair of chainsaw I was told. Two weeks later, they were "just getting around to it- been busy" I was informed after I called. I was charged 3 times what a new carb costs, for a rebuild of the old one. The cherry on top of this debacle- got it home, and it still would not start. They used to be great, I wrote positive reviews going back 10 years. Not sure what happened, or why they went so far downhill, but never again. The previous 2 times, I have had equipment repaired, I noticed their service going down and prices going up, but was generally okay with things. Never again. They will never receive another dollar from me, or anyone else that I will encourage to take their business anywhere else.GO ANYWHERE - except Mikell's Power Equipment.

Mikell's didn't have the air filter I needed for an old, obsolete chainsaw. So they called a competitor across town and found the part for me. That's pretty good customer service.

They picked up on time. Service was great but long time waiting.I called to check it was Done and was not notified they are always Busy and hadn't had the time to call .serviced everything great only problem they replaced my Battery when mine was only a week old ! Battery must not have been good. Need mine to take Back.

Can't say enough good things about this place. Staff is professional and helpful. The service is the best in town however the wait time is really long. We took a chainsaw in we had bought years ago to have the oiler replaced. Took them two weeks before they even looked at it but it was done right and at a fair price. I will always recommend this place.
