Received a phone call from them in regards to a check I wrote one of their customers. They asked to verify funds in my account to cash the check. I'm thinking, okay you have the systems to do that go for it. Nope! They wanted me to give them my user name and password to my bank accounts. Sorry, I am not a complete idiot! If this is the kind of things this business does I would stay far away from it.Kevin, thank you for responding. While I understand your frustration with dishonest people that is even more reason for me to not give out my user name and password, even to a 3rd party company. The first thing any financial institution will tell you is to not give that information to anyone, including them. Now to assist you with the problem of checks not having funds, look into electronic check cashing. There are electronic check cashing programs that will verify and guarantee funds immediately. With these programs you would no longer put check writers at risk by having them give out sensitive information. Have a great day, Carrie.
