Feedback:

I only gave this company 1 star because it would not let me post my comment without it. If I could sellect a -10 stars I would. We have ask Brian Grimaldi to remove our company from their call list several times. His response today was... ok I will call you tomorrow. Brian Grimaldi is rude and unprofessional. Who ever Frank is (when asked where he is calling from he replies "Frank's office")should be ashamed to have Brian Grimaldi representing him.

I do not like to give bad reviews but this time I had to. John called me, made up a bogus story about meeting me at a cash station so my secretary would take his sales call. John is very rude, which is par for the course I guess. The loans they are offer are very bad for small business. They are a daily drain on small business cash flow.

Called our business and asked for the owners personal cell phone number. Was told we don't give out to anyone and asked to be put on do not call list. Telemarketer from this company became angry and said no I won't, who do you think you are talking too. Very rude.

Just fielded a call from Chris Patel. Had the most unprofessional phone manners. There was no way I was going to forward his call to the owner. On top of that, the obvious lie that he was following up on a conversation he had was the icing on the cake. No lying, unprofessional callers will ever get by me...

I love working at this company. We actually help business owners. I just got into this industry two years ago and I kept on bouncing around from job to job because these companies were literally robbing business owners blind but all legally, it was just sad. But when I came to MAE that all changed and I actually have clients that I fund 4 times a year. I know a review from an employee doesn't usually do much justice but I just want people to know that truth about our company because we truly are in it for the business owners.

This is the first time that I have been upset enough to write a review. I have small business that is growing faster than I can keep up with so I've had these advances from other companies in the past but I've never been talked to this way before. I'm sure John is a great guy out of the office, but he comes off as arrogant and makes it very clear that he doesn't want me wasting his time. I could hear his eyes hitting the back of his head when I told him that 36% payback was way too high compared to the 20% I got from On Deck - direct lender. Something that he said was impossible and would not have bothered messing with me if they would have known my expectations were "so high." He continued to push the loan and explain to me that this was the only move that made sense. Keep in mind that I did not need the loan but they called me and emailed me constantly for a month promising to offer something much better than on deck. I read some reviews that state the same thing. They constantly harass and then when you think, "man these guys must have a good deal for me," you fall into pool of leeches that don't give up. After this experience I hope I can talk a few out of making the same mistake. Go with On Deck if possible or Quick Bridge for more feasible rates and better customer service.

Terrible Spammers - will not take no for an answer. Call repeatedly to our sales floor where there are no decision makers. Waste of time! Next time they call, we will be reporting them to our Attorney General.

I recently received a call from Stan at Merchant Advance. This call was the absolute worst experience I have had speaking to a person. I respectfully told him I was not interested in any type of cash advance loan and requested to be removed from their calling list. Despite this request, he continued to speak over me and attempt to explain and try to sell me on their services after I had clearly tried telling him that my business does not need a loan. When I, once again, explained I had no interest in their services, he began insulting me personally and insulting my business. He became very rude and unprofessional saying, such things as, it being obvious I do need the money because I had directly answered my own business phone line and that I must not be able afford a receptionist. The insults did not stop there. He continued with further insults which I will choose not to repeat publicly.After the phone call, I called back and spoke with a receptionist. She apologized and said that this is a major problem they are attempting to deal with within their company. I gave the information she requested to be able to track down the call and address the issue. I requested a call back after they had spoken with the employee as a reassurance they had addressed the problem, yet never received one.To make matters worse, the same employee, Stan, called me the following day, and once again quickly devolved to harassment and more insults. Companies worth dealing with and trusting should know that the people they hire directly represent who they are as a business. Based on the judgment of having Stan as a representative of Merchant Advance Express, even after multiple instances of customer harassment, shows poor judgement and lack of morals, respect, quality of service, and standard business practices. I would never do business with a company like this and advise that this company should not be trusted with any type of personal information.
