Dealt with Tom and Dan at Marathon. I’m not much of a review person but felt the need to post a review following settling on my new home. Buying a home is stressful and we have all heard the horrible stories about getting a mortgage and closing being a nightmare. Tom and Dan guided us through every step of the process and kept my neurotic tendencies at bay. Everything went along smooth and without a hitch. Thank you both for making a stressful situation not that bad at all. I would highly recommend their company.

Had an excellent experience working with Dan at Marathon Mortgage. As a first time home buyer, I had a ton of questions and Dan was extremely patient in ensuring I understood the process in its entirety. You can tell Marathom Mortgage runs an ethical, customer-oriented business (unlike many other mortgage providers) and I would highly recommend having a conversation with Dan if you are in the market for a purchase or refinance. He has decades of experience and works incredibly hard. Dan's availability was remarkable: nights, weekends, early mornings, etc. - he always made himself available depending on my needs, and was simply a pleasure to work with throughout the process. If you're buying a home, you need that kind of availability in a broker because in the current real estate market, good homes go fast and you need to ensure you get an offer in quickly. Simply an excellent experience from the first meeting through closing!

I've been dealing with Rory Farrell of Marathon Mortgage and I find the service and the product offerings excellent! As a real estate broker with over 25 years I strongly recommend that buyers use local lenders when buying a home and Marathon Mortgage would be an excellent choice.

Got the runaround from another broker. Mike Gulbinski was recommended by another realtor and I had an answer within 24 hours. He walked me through the whole process step by step and was always available with answers to any questions. Cathy Beck (who did the paperwork) was also extremely prompt and professional. I would HIGHLY recommend them! They're the reason I'm closing in a few days. (PS: still waiting on a call from the original broker)!
