Lunds & Byerlys reminds me of what the pinnacle of grocery stores were supposed to be back in the early 2000s. They have self checkout counters, however by today's standards they're a bit outdated and I ran into multiple issues with both machines. There are a lot of things, I mean a lot, and they're arranged randomly across the store so that finding things was very difficult. The store just assumes you are a regular and have "figured it out" by now. In terms of produce it's better than the target across the street although I did see some meat that was a bit beyond its time out on the display. The best thing about Lunds is that it has things that other places don't have, unfortunately these things come at a premium and the payoff is sometimes not worth it. All in all this place is good, but the prices and the vibe that I'm in the 2000s version of what super market excellence is makes this the last grocery store I go to in this area.
