No one to attend customer at lunch break

Do not know why people still prefer hdfc for home loans. They are so much behind. You can not even check your remaining amount on their site. Every time I needed to make payment, I had to visit the branch personally and that too can not be done on saturday and last week of month.

This is the only home loan branch available in Gurgaon and one more in Munirka, New Delhi. Every month I visit the branch to deposit cheque. At the door a welcome sign was hanging but once you enter you will find that actually there is no one to welcome you. Everytime it gave a feel that I'm visiting a Government office and not India's one of the best private bank. No one ever asked me to take a seat while a conversation while the staffs all were seating. I didn't find anyone with a smiling gesture. Probably they believe that as you have taken a home loan, you are bound to come for years, no matter how you feel.

I happened to visit this place today. I reached at around 1:10, without knowing that they close at 1 PM. Some customers were still being served. I requested the watchman to let me in, for me to request the concerned officer as I had visited from far, and can't take an off on a weekday to visit the place. The security person didn't let me in despite multiple requests. Staff was looking through the glassdoor, laughing at my requests to the watchman. Irritated, I had to make few phone calls and they fell in line. Unfortunately, the staff forgot that it's the customer who pays their salary at the end of day. While I respect their working hours, but staff laughing from inside is just not acceptable. The security could have at least let me in to speak to officials for my satisfaction. Disappointing!

They are like any other branch of HDFC limited. Useless with long queues and unfriendly staff. Avoid if you can.
