It all depends on what worker you get. I go here frequently to exchange my smaller bills for bigger bills(I work as a busboy so I get a lot of tip money in smaller bills) and I’ve only had one bad experience there. The petite, Hispanic worker is very efficient and does a great job; I have never had any problems when she is working. However, this past time I visited she was not the lady working and instead it was a taller, more heavyset Hispanic woman. When I exchanged about $315-$320 in small bills I only got $201 back. When I confronted her that she shorted me, she told me, “No, you only gave me $205” and refused to give me the rest of my money. Very unprofessional on her part and I lost about $100 in the process. I would recommend only using this currency exchange if the small, Hispanic worker is on shift.

They got my currency for Costa Rica in a reasonable time, but they shorted me. I was quoted at 50,505 in Costa Rican curremcy, and they only have me 50,000. I asked them where the other 505 was, and they said the rate had changed by the time we went. When you quote someone out and write down a price (also signing and stamping it), you can't give them a different amount. That's what the exchange rate fee is there for. To cover a change in price. They quoted me at a higher amount and took the leftover money. While the worker was nice, the establishment is super shady, and I won't use them again.

I had a fine experience here today, my first visit. Stopped in to pick up Ventra bus cards. Pleasant staff and got the 5 cards fairly quickly.

Mediocre at best. Staff doesnt really know whats going on and hours of operation arent great (closed on sundays? C'mon). Good for cashing your check. Otherwise, pass.
