One star is actually too much. I would give zero if the system would let me. I stopped there because I bought a car and wanted the title on my name. When the woman across the plexiglass saw the IL REBUILT inscription on the title she literally freaked out. She wanted to send me to the police for a special inspection then she changed her mind and wanted me to go to the dmv to pay special fees for the rebuilt car title, so even she didn't know what she wanted. Besides all this she talked to me in a way you see only in movies plantation owners talking to their slaves. I have to mention this wasn't the first rebuilt car I bought and I've never heard this baloney. So I went to a different currency exchange and guess what ?!? It took 6 minutes, 3 smiles, a short conversation and the whole procedure was over. I even asked the lady about any new legislation regarding rebuilt cars, and I told her my story with Lake Cook Road Checkexpress Currency Exchange. She told me very nicely the special inspection is required ONLY when you want to change a salvage title into a rebuilt title. She even printed me out two pages from the Secretary of States website confirming word by word what she just said. (The Illinois Vehicle Code mandates that the Secretary ofState Police physically inspect all salvage vehicles thatare eight model years old or newer before a rebuilt titlemay be issued (625 ILCS 5/3-301). So THIS IS THE LAW and dear lady behind plexiglass considers herself above the law. After all this I'm just asking myself: the owner of this Lake Cook Road Checkexpress Currency Exchange having a business in Buffalo Grove why does hire and employ people with ghetto-attitude and lacking even basic things they should know the best???

I loved how short the line was for a Chicago city sticker. I was done in about 10 minutes. Remember to pay in cash, otherwise they charge a $2 extra fee for a debit card and they don't take credit cards. The guy behind me tried to cash a money order and they said they would have to wait a day to verify the check since it was after hours (it was 6:45 pm) for their verification process.

Obviously they learn from their mistakes because my experience was exceptional. The staff was very helpful and I had some issues myself and they went out of their way to help me resolve them. I would highly recommend them very fast very friendly very flexible
