Went to a few different versions of this "Cash for Gold" business thinking it's all the same but it's not. I had a high end brand name watch that I had been low balled a few other places and was worried about being ripped off or robbed by people on EBay and Craigslist platforms. I needed a professional, someone who would know what this watch was worth and how much I could get vs. The waiting game of online selling. He made a fair offer and I then went online to try my luck. He was right and I ran back into his store right away!! Lol Thanks KM

KM CASH FOR GOLD IS THE HIGHEST RATES IN THE BAY AREA!They take anything and everything! I had a few things that my ex-husband bought for me including my engagement and wedding band rings.I went to the place we originally bought it from with the receipts and b.s. guarantee certificates that it will be worth double or triple within a certain time frame etc. It's all B.S. I never expected full price but when the original store offered me a fraction I was pissed. I went to a few different places before doing some research. I visited fine jewelry stores all over the bay area who promise "top dollar" juat to get you into their store. I went to pawn shops and was floored by their lack of knowledge and then it appeared they were playing games by "down playing" the quality, the lack of resale price etc as if to get me to beg them to take it.. all games and totally unhonest behaviors. So I heard from a few employees at these stores about Khalid from KM Cash for Gold El Sobrante. So I called ahead to make sure he was there and went in. I was sure this was going to be my last attempt before putting it on craigslist. Turns out that the Diamond in the engagement ring was worth quite a bit more than I or my ex ever realized. Just for the Diamond alone I got so much $ money that I started crying. This honesty especially to a newly single mom of 3 children under 10 years old just helped me be able to financially support us for the next year!!Plus I got several hundred dollars for the gold bands.. I hate writing reviews but for those out there who hate being lied to and misled and preyed upon by these places Please believe me that Khalid KM Cash for Gold is 100% honest and actually cares. I also had like 3 or 4 gift cards in my wallet and he asked if I still wanted them or would sell them. I sold them and got a pretty penny for them too!!THANK YOU SO MUCH KHALID! This place buys GIFT CARDS!!!! I've only seen a gift card buying kiosk at a Safeway 1 time and it offered me $5.00 On a $60 card which was ridiculous! This guy gave me so much!I have so many gift cards sitting around and I would never think I could sell them and get cash! Who wants a store credit to Home Depot lolThis guy is totally cool!He also tested my gold and silver broken chains and nice pieces and some small diamonds I thought were fake from an ex BF and it turned out the were real!! And then I sold it fast for cash! and then gave me cash for my broken stuff too!! I keep coming here all the time especially now with Xmas coming! Can you say pay my bills!! Thanks KM CASH!

The owner is completely honest and trustworthy!I have always been treated with respect and explained what and how the pricing goes. I bring in broken pieces and estate items I buy as well. He offers me cash on the spot and that's why I keep coming back!
