I can confirm Sarah's previous review was accurate! I'm sure an estate sale is rarely an enjoyable process for any family but I found my recent experience to be down right frustrating! I would assume most people only have to turn to an estate sale once or twice in their lives so it isn't something you can learn as you go so I will provide some details on my experience and hopefully you can learn from my mistakes. First let me give credit where credit is due: Denise and her staff did a great job arranging and stage the house for the estate sale. The home was loaded with a ton of stuff from broken cheap items to some nice antique items and furniture. (imagine a hoarder's house without the garbage or dead animals often shown on TV shows) It was a challenge to say the least and they did a good job and a LOT of work! But it goes downhill from there. MISTAKE #1: Because of the volume of stuff it was understandable that every item could not be priced but it wasn't in writing how those items would be priced so I HIGHLY recommend if you have a similar situation you get in writing who will decide on the prices and how. MISTAKE #2: Not questioning items I felt were under priced, such as an antique buffet that was price at $189 (I doubt you could buy a cheap one at Walmart for that price!) But my bad for not pushing the issue! MISTAKE #3: Assuming that because I planned to attend all three days of the sale, I could monitor the situation, WRONG! People actually do show up hours before the sale to get their number in line and with 20+ buyers converging on the house at once there is simply no way to watch 4 different people collecting money in 4 different areas of the house. Which brings me to MISTAKE #4: Not insisting the money be counted while I was present. Hiding in a room and doing your own counting and then calling me in after the fact leaves an opportunity for a lot of mistrust. There is no record keeping of items sold or for how much so you're left wondering!! On day 2 everything was marked half price, I had left the home for awhile and when I returned ALL the jewelry was gone. I was told a lady came in and made an offer for all that was left yet when I asked how for how much I was given a vague answer (Again my bad for not pushing the issue). Now we get to day three. After staying up all night to clean and bring some items from other floors of the house and putting out things that hadn't yet been displayed, I came to let the staff in first thing in the morning and then went home to shower and grab a quick rest. I decided to forego the rest and returned to the house before the start time and found an entire room nearly emptied! When I questioned what the hell happened, I kid you not, the response I was received was "You weren't supposed to be back" but no explanation of why things were being loaded into their trailer! As I'm trying to formulate my response, Denise now opens the door to the people waiting to get in, hands them a bag and tells them $5 to fill a bag! The house became like a crazy game show with people speeding through the house filling their large department store bags with anything they could! Had I been told this was the plan, it might actually have been amusing to watch! But I was so infuriated that I was basically numb!! So if you are planning to have an estate sale, DO YOUR RESEARCH! I thought I had done mine but clearly I failed epically! For instance, I had no idea there is a circuit of dealers and buyers that hit estate sales for bargains and the estate companies are all too willing to assist them in that quest! I wasn't planning on making a ton of money but I also wasn't planning to give everything away. Luckily we had remove the real valuable item before being the sales process. I would rather put it in the garbage and brighten some garbage picker's day! Do your research and for the love of God, get EVERYTHING in writing!! How will items be priced and negotiated, what is the policy for staff buying items, and how will the money be tallied. Good Luck!!

Please don't use them, they don't price anything and sell at the lowest prices people give them for large items, after you close they go thru and just take things. go with an auction instead. was so disappointed in the way they smile and do nothing at the end for you just for themselves

The prices are are very fair. All the employees are well knowledgeable of all articles that they are selling and have to add are very friendly ☺️ Please keep up the good work and keep it coming with all the good stuff. God bless the key 🔑

I have been an avid collector of unique older vintage and antiques. I go to many sales weekly. Denise Tammy Percilla and Red are truly amazing people. They know how to run a sale which keeps me coming back. The Key to Estate Treasures are in my top 3 favorite sales that i religiously attend. Truly genuine individuals that I admire.

Thank you so much for conducting my mothers Estate sale. Denise you and your crew was so helpful I can't thank you enough. You squeezed top dollar for my mothers estate and didn't give it away it really helped the family. I will forever be grateful for all you've done and will tell everyone I know about your Estate Services!!!!! Thanks again

Feedback:

Female owner incredibly rude. Must learn to work on customer service. Not only am I collector, I resell as well, I am knowledgeable about price/product. Because I am young, they took me for a fool and TREATED me as such. Do NOT recommend ANY of their estate sales... buyer beware, especially if you are under 50!
