On June 26th 2019 i called to see if i could get a deferral for my auto loan payment for the month of August, they had sent the request out to management and told me id have to call back in a day or two. When i called back to see if i had been approved the girl told me that yes i was approved for the deferral for the month of August and that i was good to go. August 1st came around and they had still taken the payment out of my acct, so i had went into the branch to see what happened and see about getting it reversed because i was told i was good to go on the deferral. The girl at the branch took care of it got the money back, fast forward to September 4th and i got a notification from credit karma saying i missed my auto payment for August, so i called kemba to see what happened and was answered with an attitude and was told that i never signed anything when i replied that i was never told nor was i given anything to sign she snapped back saying yes i was because she was the same one who i talked to last time over the phone. After going back and forth with her spending my entire lunch break i said ill just go into the branch. When i got to the branch was given the same kind of rude attitude and basically called a liar by the same person i delt with when i went in to see in August 1st about why the money was taken when my deferral was approved, she told me that it was cancelled because i never signed anything and when i told her no one had told me or gave me anything to sign she said i should have known that id have to sign something on my own they shouldn't have to tell me. When i asked if they could at least reverse it from mine and my father in law's credit because of the confusion and lack of information they said no because no matter the issue or whose fault it remains that i still missed the payment for August (I've never missed a single payment before it's always been automatically taken out a week before it's due). When i asked why they couldn't do it they said its at the banks discretion. If i could give negative stars id give as many as possible ive been with kemba for over 3 years never missed a payment or late and to be treated this way is inconceivable and when my auto loan is paid in full ill never work with this company again and i suggest that if you decide to go with kemba for anything do as much research on them as possible.

They wouldn't deposit my check amount and when I wanted to speak to a manager they sat me in the waiting room 4 10 minutes when the whole place was absolutely empty and nobody would come see me. Worst location ever.

If I could give zero stars I would. The credit union is not properly training and educating their employees on the policies and procedures of the credit union. A vice president no less at the main building in West Chester, OH stated she would call me back on them morning of 2/22/2018. There are many other credit unions that have better rates, more flexible and convenient locations, better trained employees and the list goes on.

This is one of the slowest and probably most understaffed locations. The staff is almost always pleasant though. At least it doesn’t feel like a prison lock down like the one North Bend and Hamilton.

Horrible experience. Loan officers do not know the difference between an approval and a preapproval. Was told we had an approval and was given the okay to pick up a vehicle that it was for. We were helped by Brenda B in the loan department. They make you open an account with them to have a loan so we did this with Trinity at the Springdale branch. We had to drive a total of 8 hours to get the vehicle that we were buying. We were told that the paperwork would be done by Monday and encouraged to go ahead and pick up the vehicle since we were being helped on a Friday and needed to do this over the weekend if possible. We get back with the vehicle and call them on Monday (no one from the bank called us) and are told that the loan wasn't approved. We have never done business with Kemba before and we never will again. You can not take them at their word. We spoke with the manager and his story is different from his staffs. They are really lost.

This is a terrible so called credit union, they charged me over $100 in fees said I was overdrawn spent 1.09 on coffee a couple times at Thornton's and they charged me $33 dollars for each coffee, this place is horrible. Don't bank here
