J.K. Lee has been absolutely invaluable for my kids, both of whom had very different needs going in. One needed help with focus, and his report card comments before and after he started were night and day. The improvements we’ve seen at home and at school have been incredible. My other child needed a little confidence boost, and his self-esteem has skyrocketed. I can’t be more thankful to Mr Gendelman and his staff for everything that they do. We were welcomed from day 1 and we really feel like part of a community. I look forward to coming as often as my kids do!

Our experience with Mr. Gendelman at JK Lee Fox Point over the past couple of years has been amazing. My two daughters started taking Tae Kwon Do together years ago, and I (mom) also joined in to help to support my girls in working toward their goals. Together we have learned many lessons in perseverance, strength, respect and assertiveness. Working through our belts together has facilitated meaningful conversations about practicing self-discipline to reach goals, which extends to much more than just tae kwon do. I highly recommend classes with Mr. Gendelman at JK Lee Fox Point for any family who wishes that their children (and themselves) know their own strength.

This academy is a GREAT place for kids and adults.We were enrolled there (Fox Point) only for ~2 months before we had to move due to a personal situation.Their emphasis on discipline and respect in addition to the physical aspects & self defense techniques of Tae-Kwon-Do really sets them apart.Kids are given extra credit if they submit a documented list of acts of kindness and acts of discipline signed by parents. This encourages kids to continue their best behavior at home. I noticed a visible improvement in the behavior of my 5 yr old.I'd call out Mr Gendelman here who's an inspiring leader and an great teacher of Tae-Kwon-Do there but all other instructors are also very dedicated. The place is full of energy and warmth. Great for meeting people and developing relationships, becoming a part of the community & most of all keeping healthy!Highly recommend the place for young kids but in general everyone.Just take a class and you'll know what I'm saying! :-)

Started at J.K. Lee with my wife and two kids last spring and have been nothing but Impressed. The instructors truly care about strengthing students in both body and mind. I am often surprised by the improvement in discipline my children have shown. I have also benefited greatly from regular fitness and stretching.Most of all I have enjoyed the community we have joined in J.K. Lee. My family is new to the Milwaukee area and between the summer safety event to the partiess in the park, even walking in the parade, we've really felt at home.

Our daughter started with J.K. Lee three years ago and we have seen so many positive changes. She is more confident in everything she does and she has learned to focus at home and at school. The instructors get to know the students and build up their self esteem by praising them, even for the smallest achievement. Our 3 year old son waited patiently until his 3rd birthday to join. He has shown so much growth in the four months he has been a tae kwon do student. Yesterday, he volunteered and was selected to lead the class of 20+ students (ranging in age from 3-12+) in reciting the tenants of tae kwon do. He was so proud to be a leader and we are amazed that our shy toddler wanted to lead this group of older students. The skills my young children are learning at J.K. Lee will benefit them throughout their entire life. I cannot say enough positive things about J.K. Lee and I highly recommend them to everyone I meet.

Mr. Gendelman, Ms. Palmisano, and Mr. Hein are all fantastic with kids. The J K Lee studios all offer classes six days a week, and many are combined parents and kids, which reduces scheduling difficulties. The classes are a perfect size with a variety of view points but still enough space. All of the students and black belts have been very helpful. This is a great way for kids to learn confidence and the instructors go out of their way to teach kids self discipline and kindness. We have seen great results with out two girls. We recommend J K Lee, and Fox Point in particular, very highly.

We have two elementary aged daughters and go as a family. The girls love sparring and so does my husband. I appreciate the positive reinforcement of their hard work and discipline. As parents, we love how the girls are growing in their confidence in themselves. We also have found using and talking about the tenets (courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self control, indomitable spirit) have helped us with discipline at home.

My youngest wanted to martial arts so we checked out jk lee fox point. The whole family is happy we did. We are all taking classes and really enjoying ourselves. My wife and I love confidence or girls are developing and the language jk lee gives us for talking to our kids, acts of kindness acts of self discipline. The instructors are extremely supportive and have great attitudes. Highly recommend this location.

Great place to learn. The kids learn not only martial arts skills, but the martial arts way of focus and discipline that they use in their daily lives.
