We stayed at the Vila gale estroil in late July 2019. This is without a doubt the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed at.The room is spacious and although it's a little dated it was perfectly fine and the bed was comfortable. Room was air conditioned and has a mini fridge and safe. There was no iron and if you wanted to get something ironed you need the staff to do it for you as they dont provide an iron for the room.The view from the room was spectacular and made it extra special.Breakfast is lovely but be in plenty of time as they dont replenish the food towards the end of breakfast so get there before 10am.the dining room was never crowded or busy and the waiting staff were brilliant. Hotel is located next the railways station and bus stop so getting around is easy. And just a short walk to the beach.There is a lovely pool area tooOnly really negatives are the the room over looks a busy road and the sound of cars beeping and motorcycles can be heard in the room.This is also a problem as the music from the nearby nite club can be heard in the room and it sometimes goes on until 6am. So I'd suggest a room at the rear of the hotel without a seaview. The shower is a bit lack luster with poor flow although the bathroom itself is fantastic and recently refurbished. I'd most certainly recommend this hotel and would stay here again but in a cheaper room at the rear of the hotel.
