Horicon Bank refused to open an account for me, due to "information received from ChexSystems, a consumer reporting agency", and wouldn't tell me a specific reason. U.S. Bank down the road opened an account for me, they had nothing negative on ChexSystems or any problem verifying my identity.

Not only have they been a solid local business for many decades but they have also contributed substantially to the local communities as well as to many public projects such as the Int'l March Education Center on Hwy. 28.
