Feedback:

Very professional and courteous it almost feels as if I was family not to mention they wash and vacuum your vehicle at no cost I didn't even give them permission to do so truly a Delight there mechanic did a walk-around and noticed a bunch of lights not working I had them replaced at my cost but was thankful for this walk around check all this for a warranty check up I'll have the tires rotated on my next visit.

Just want to share my experience. You decide. I was in the market for a new vehicle but really had no clear idea of what I wanted. So I basically was looking at and test driving a number of different vehicles. I had been looking at Outbacks online so stopped by one Saturday, spoke to a salesman and asked him if I could test drive one. He said "Yes, but due to insurance purposes I have to ride with you". First time I had ever heard that from any dealership but since it was just a first drive no big deal. Test drive went fine and I told him I wanted to look at some other vehicles and would be back in touch if I was still interested. After a couple of months of looking around I narrowed my choices down and the Outback was close to the top if not at the top. I went back a second time, found an Outback on the lot I really liked and found the same salesman and told him I'd like to take "that one" out for a test drive. I also explained that my elderly father has some physical problems and I'd like to take it out to his house as part of the test drive just to see how easily (or hard) it was for him to get in and out of the Outback.Salesman says "Well I'll need to check with my manager as we generally don't let you take them out alone". I asked him to do so and he went inside. After a few minutes he comes back and says we'll let you take it out but you'll need to sign a "test drive agreement". I'm like, ok, whatever is necessary (though this is the first time I had ever run into such a request from any dealer).Went inside, had to provide copy of drivers license, insurance information, address and cell phone number. They then proceeded to print off said "test drive agreement" which basically said I would not use the vehicle to commit any crimes, I was responsible for any and all damage that occurred to the vehicle while on the test drive and would reimburse Hometown for any costs they incurred to repair said damage. It also said that I would return the vehicle in the allotted time. Had to sign and date the agreement.I then notice the agreement had a "time out" and a "time in" space at the bottom. Salesman says "How long do you think you'll be"? I told him with the need to navigate the mall traffic, get to my dad's house (he lives in Daniels), get him into and out of the car and then drive back I would probably need two hours. At that point salesman says "Eh, we usually don't let you have it out for more than an hour. Can you be back in an hour?" I told him that would be cutting it tight but I would try.So at 1:00 p.m. I signed out and took off to home. Of course, as I fully expected by the time I got to my dad's house, got him down the steps and let him try to get in, etc. I was running close. As I backed out of the driveway to head back to the dealership I looked at the clock on the car and I had been gone for 1 hour and 5 minutes. So I was over my allotted time but I was headed back to dealership so "no big deal" I thought. So I'm driving back to the dealership and it's been one hour and ten minutes and my cell phone starts ringing. I think to myself "Surely not". The phone was in my pocket and I didn't want to take a chance on retrieving it while I'm driving so I just let it ring and go to voicemail.I got back to Hometown and it had now been one hour and twenty minutes since I left. (Not bad I thought). But curious as to the phone call, I pull out my phone, looked at missed calls and sure enough the call showed "Hometown Subaru". Better yet, there was a voicemail so I check it and you guessed it. The phone call at the one hour five minute mark was from the sales manager and the message he left said "Hi, this is xxxx from Hometown Subaru. I was just calling to see where you were at and let me know if there is a problem. Please give me a call when you get this message".So, as I alluded to I'm not making any comments (bad or good). I'm just putting this out there to let you know what my experience was. Had to select a star just to allow post. Three star is just so I could post this.

Feedback:

Best dealer I have ever dealt with!!!!!

Feedback:

Called 4 times and gave my information twice and never got called back one single time. I mentioned I was ready to buy immediately, but apparently that’s not enough for this company.

Feedback:

The new service area is very nice and I really enjoyed the new diagnostic system.

I had the pleasure of being helped by Janeen. She saw my Pa license plate on my vehicle and told me she had lived in Pa for a bit and we hit it off. She offered to show my wife and I any car we wanted to see and test drive. Went over all the details of the vehicles. She was extremely pleasant, energetic, and was able to convey information about the vehicles without hesitation. She knew her products. I look forward to working with her again on our next Subaru purchase. Thanks Janeen!

Twice I have purchased me cars from these folks. They go above and beyond any dealership I have ever dealt with to make the buying process worry free. And it doesnt stop there. They want to make sure way after your purchase that you are happy and quit satisfied with the way they do business and the product they sell. Super awesome!!! I will return to them in the future.

My husband has bought 2 vehicles from Hometown Subaru & we love them both. If I've had a question I've always gotten an answer. Friendly staff & great locations. Easy to find & get in & out of parking lots.
