Going to get free professional continued business advice from a business professional like Judi Mellon at the HIlo SBDC feels like the deal of a lifetime. Judi is genuinely interested in our business and helping it succeed. Every time we go in we leave with simple, concise, steps or suggestions and/or new perspectives on a business angle. Judy helps makes problems/solutions more approachable by helping to break them down into manageable steps. We really appreciate her mentorship and her easy going yet professional nature. The whole staff does a great job of organizing events, following through with communication and providing Hilo with free small business support services.

Judie Mellon, is a breathe of fresh air to work with. She did her homework, checked out my social media page, and already had a good perspective of what I was about. Not to mention, she is more then your average walk in office business type that goes with a scripted meeting and YES, SHE LISTENS, to who I am as a woman business owner, what I want, need and is willing to work with me to forge forward into new territory on our island.
