I have been a client since 1990 when Robert Giambalvo was a CPA in solo practice. The firm has handled my accounting, both personal returns and my business returns for 28 years. Over that time both my business and Giambalvo, Stalzer have grown. I left New York at the end of 1993 and moved my practice to Tampa, FL. Bob, Herb and their team have taught me, helped me and encouraged me to take advantage of SEP IRAs, 401(k)s and cost segregation studies. I have also, from time to time used them as sources of general advice and business advice when dealing with big decisions or significant problems with employees. They are ethical, professional, highly experienced and knowledgeable. Sometimes when I have conversations with friends, patients or other acquaintances, I realize that having wound up as a client of Bob Giambalvo in 1990, when I was just getting started in my career, was a twist of fate that precipitated my ability to build a much larger retirement fund than most other people of the same income level. This is because most people in their own business, either on their own or through the advice of their CPA have made short sighted decisions. I have, with their help, made smarter, better long term business decisions and I would recommend them to anyone.
