Client Review on Generations Bank, Inc.
Feedback:
I’d give this zero stars actually. Their online banking is a mess first off. You don’t get to view your transactions like any other bank account. You have to specifically look into your bank records. Then there’s the fact that when I set up the account their financial advisor knew absolutely nothing. So don’t come here if you have any real income like stocks or anything because upon filling out forms for something as simple as American funds, the guy did it entirely wrong and they had to return the paperwork to me to fill out again to get my account into my name. Real wizard they got there. Oh and if anything goes awry with your account, regardless of the fact they have all your personal info (email, phone number) they don’t contact you. They send you something in the mail and if you don’t get it hope you don’t need that bank account of yours! Cause you definitely can’t use your card until YOU call THEM. Then when you do call them, you’ll get a miserable teller who beyond rude on the phone and can’t figure anything out anyways and then they’ll hand you off to someone else to tell you the real issue. Asking you things like well WHERE are you trying to purchase things like you’re shopping on the black market. What’s really nice is they exchange your change for money to deposit without any fees but be careful there too. Once a teller sees you with all that change and you go to deposit it they’ll treat you like a welfare case..UNTIL you pull out a handful of cash and clarify you’re a waitress. I’ve put up with all of this and more in about two years and honestly didn’t believe everyone when they said DONT use generations but seriously, heed the warning. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else.
