For a pawn shop, I believe they do fair deals, sometimes they have some really cool instruments and sound equipment.

When your buying it's all good but when it comes to selling the rip you off as hard is they can. He said we do half of what we can sell it for said he would sell my item for $100 then offered me 40 for it. I brought in a 170 dollar gun and he said he would give me 50 for it. Supper racist won't buy most anything made not made in usa and on top of it all he threw my Id card at me when he was done scanning it and slammed my money on they counter. And when I thanks have a good one he just glared smirked and walked away. I will NEVER sell here again go anywhere else they only careason about people there to buy and if your there to sell expect to be treated like cap

I can only speak from a perspective as a buyer which means I'm more inclined to give favorable review to fair pawn shops. Geauga Pawn has always been fair with me especially if my buy is a cash sale. It always results in discounts anywhere from 25-50 dollars on a 200 sale depending on the item. Prices have no rhyme or reason some items which should be higher others lower. Jewelry and stereo equipment very good. Laptops, TV's and coins higher then normal. I must say I chuckle when sellers come in and expect large amounts of dollars they seem to have no concept that pawn shops work on margins.

I'm sorry other people have had "bad" experiences! I'm very critical of customer service because I've worked many years in customer service. They have been nothing but fair and willing to work with me in an kind, courteous and honest manor! Sure you don't get a lot of $ from "ANY" pawn broker, they have tons of fees, licensing, taxes and if they buy or get stuck with your item, they may have to sit on that $ for a very very long time and possibly may never sell it.

Nastiest people I have ever met. Sure I get there are a lot of drug addicts they deal with, but these people really need to rethink how they treat people. Went to another pawn shop and got an amazing set of golf clubs. No Thanks! Horrible.!!! AND Their commercial includes a guy saying he needs money for his girlfriend?!?! Don't tell his wife... THATS NOT FUNNY YOU SICK PEOPLE. What kind of company would allow/approve that?! TRASH
