Tried the set lunch. Although only RM15 you got what you paid for. The food was well below average. Service was non existent. I asked for a refill of my ice tea and was told that you only get one glass. No offer of water unless you ask. A party of six and the first dish to be served was eaten before any other dish turned up. Will not be back. Other locations offer set lunches at the same price and are far better in every aspect. Very poor. Up your game Mercure.

Great stay in this friendly and unique hotel on the beach. Outstanding staff. Clean rooms. Spacious. Food was good, but room for improvement. GRAB was the best mode of transport for the entire island. Recommended

Service from the kitchen is the worse I've ever experienced. I ordered pancakes, poached egg and salmon. I did not receive the poached egg or salmon. I paid cash and gave a tip. I nicely told the guy the order was not complete and he had an attitude about it. He left to go check, 15 minutes later I called the kitchen and they told me it was coming. He came empty handed to tell me they already gave it to me. Which they hadn't. I explained and showed the menu, he left. I called the kitchen again and got nowhere. They did not come back until later to tell me the menu is wrong but finally after 1 hour I got the poached egg and salmon I ordered with the rest of my meal. Would not recommend.
