Doing businesses in other major towns throughout Michigan, I've witnessed the impact on business and the community that a successful chamber of commerce can have. Coming into the Flint community, and getting involved with the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce, I've seen a level of community and business development through the Chamber that is second to none. The Chamber has programs to get teens and young adults working, programs to connect business not only through Networking but through the knowledge and assisted-leads of the Chamber staff, and the Chamber is allowing a platform for new businesses to come into Flint and succeed.

Lived here 35 years, minus the times I was locked up,funneled from family member to member, we have alot to be proud of here...Guy's are doing a great job downtown....Need a JC penney or something...better diversify
