These guys are awesome! Had a creditor that wasn’t wanting to settle and using abusive tactics. Got a hold of these guys. The creditor, after receiving the Power of Attorney document still tried to contact us directly. Went to sue the creditor and within 2 weeks, the creditor settled and wiped our debt clean and took the derogatory off of our credit report. These guys kept me in the loop and was there every step of the way. They nailed these guys. They’re highly affordable and I highly recommend! Thank you guys again!

I can't recommend these guys enough. My wife and I like a lot of Americans were hit hard by the 2008 financial crisis. We didn't file a BK but had several issues paying creditors back but we found a way to get through it. We always had perfect credit so not being able to pay our bills was very depressing. In 2008 we voluntarily returned a car to Ford knowing we would not be able to pay for it any longer. Even though we had a balance of $30k the GM of the dealership told us Ford wasn't going after people that voluntarily turned cars in because so many Americans were in this situation. Of course we didn't get that I'm writing nor would he have done so had we asked. After 9 years of paying old bills and cleaning up our credit we finally got past all of it or so we thought. Last year out of nowhere we got a notice from the law firm Nelson & Kennard saying Ford Motor Co had a judgement against my wife as well as a garnishment levy allowing them to take all checks owed to her. (She's a Realtor and this allowed them to literally take all her commission checks) We never received a notice to appear in court, were never served papers and had no idea about this judgement for $30k. After 9 years this came out of nowhere. We're not rich people so when my wife sells a home it's money we need to support our family. Nelson & Kennard were absolute bullies and they were dirty. They never served us so we never had an opportunity to go before a judge to plead our case. Any judge when looking at our disposable income or lack thereof would have allowed us to at least work out a reasonable payment plan or settlement if he hadn't thrown it out altogether being that it was 9 years old and we really had no way of paying it. Apparently this is a common practice used by law firms like Nelson & Kennard that are really just collection agencies that are only lawyers so that they can file judgements against people and use the law to destroy people's finances and sometimes their lives. We did what most people do and tried to work out a payment plan with N & K ourselves (Big Mistake!). We need to act fast and didn't think we could afford a lawyer so we didn't contact one. After N & K took 3 of my wife's commission checks (100% of them!) and harassed us at work, via threatening phone calls and letters we were stuck. Had it not been for a family member helping us God only knows what the outcome would have been. I had done a ton of research online trying to figure out a way out of this and kept coming across the name Fitzgerald & Campbell. Since the judgement was almost 8 years old we had no legal recourse to try and get a stay & the judgement thrown out we had to do something. I called F & C and from that moment everything changed. The threatening letters and phone calls stopped immediately! My contacts at F&C we're Greg & my Case Manager Dyana. Although I had a contact with other lawyers and para legal in the firm that we're all great to deal with and very helpful. F&C was able to work out a settlement with N&K that saved us $13k from the original judgement!!! They worked on a small retainer (couple hundred bucks) and $30 per month. We would pay nothing if they couldn't save us anything. We would only pay a small percentage on what they saved us. Suffice to say they were motivated to get us the best settlement possible. They were accessible all the time via phone or email and communicated everything with us. If I sent Dyana or Greg a message they got right back to me. It was one of the best experiences I've had with any company. They put our minds at ease and discussed every option with us. When I had 20 questions they had the answers and even discussed options that wouldn't have benefited them with us. When dealing with scumbags like Nelson & Kennard (especially Yesnia- she was a real slime ball) DON'T DO IT ALONE!!! Call Fitzgerald & Campbell!!! Don't waste 1 minuet trying to do it on your own and NEVER sign anything from the scumbag law firm of Nelson & Kennard. Call Fitzgerald & Campbell before ever trying to do this on your own!!

i initially hired this firm to represent me thinking they'd fight for me and have at least some empathy with my situation to care about what was going on, but in hindsight it was a mistake. they folded and capitulated at every request of the creditor, stating "nothing else" could be done once the creditor started the process of levying accounts or wage garnishing. i ended up paying more than my full balance essentially after fees from this firm. communication is poor, as you're dealing with different "case managers" and "attorneys". my "legal advice" is to look elsewhere.8/7/18. update. in response to your reply below, yes please forward to me as you have my contact information everything in regards to my case. i just wish your unrelenting will to take a stand against a bad review of your firm online was equally reflected in the handling of my case.

Greg has helped us so much with a really bad situation we were in. I can't even believe I am saying this about an attorney (no offense to attorneys but...) he is actually caring, helpful, and honest. He spent so much time listening to our circumstances and answering questions before we even retained him. I was so impressed by his knowledge and honesty, and compassion for our dire situation. He does not BS, sugar coat things, or make false promises, he is the real deal. If you are like me and look at reviews before hiring an attorney, I want you to know there is a reason why he has such great ratings on multiple review platforms, which is also why I called him in the first place.
