I was referred to First Direct by Lending Tree. We were fortunate to have Ammon Amasio handle our refi application. He was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. During the process I also contacted by yet another loan company and became confused and I got cold feet and Ammon talked me off the ledge! He was persistent without being annoying. He clarified and compared the two loans and we were able to proceed with confidence. First Direct made it simple to upload documents and communicate. I appreciate that I only dealt with Ammon and our loan processor, Priscilla, keeping it simple. The disclosure documents are easy to read and understand. By refinancing we have reduced our monthly payments by $1,500. Thank you guys!

We had a great contact at First Direct,Jonathan Aguilera.He went above & beyond to assist us.Right before our funding & after our closing,hurricane Irma hit Orlando.The hurricane caused delays in our funding.It was a very stressful time.Jonathan stayed with us & gave us much needed support during a very difficult time.Our senior processor,Jason Aquino,also deserves kudos.He was there for us also.

Overall great experience. First direct lending was transparent throughout the whole process and clear cut. Pedro Ayats and Jason Aquino kept me up to date all the time. You can tell they were serious about meeting my needs which were met. My case was apparently a challenging one and that being said they just did exceptionally well! Would definitely recommend.

We contacted First Direct Lending for a cash out re-fi. We were told that could happen. Then, after speaking with a "second" person in the process, all of our cash is eaten up in re-fi fees and costs. I said no. A third person then calls me twice, supposedly a manager; in an effort to save the mortgage. I had already secured a second mortgage with our credit union with no closing costs and I dealt with 1 person.

I would recommend First Direct Lending based on the quickness and professional handling of my refinance loan. Tyler and Leonela where very courteous and professional. They answered all my questions and everything was handled on a timely basis.

First Direct Lending was a great company to work with. Our loan officer, Steve Schwartz, was great to work with. He was very patient with us when we had any questions or concerns about anything and made sure that he fully explained everything until we understood and were comfortable with the answer and the process that was taking place at that time. We had a few little "hiccups" in our process, so it took a little longer than 30 days to close, but they worked diligently to work things out and made sure we had a successful closing.
