Flat out schemers. Their business practices may not be illegal, but in my opinion, they're unethical. They assess fees that they didn't articulate during sign up, their team is inept, and not one salesman is honest. I warn every business owner and associate I have to avoid them at all costs.Update in response to reply:I think you're mistaken because I still have my system that cost almost $4k that retails for less than $1000.00. You never helped me open anything. Hidden fees and interest around every corner. I'm with a great company now and understand the difference. I was never, EVER, informed about an early termination fee, and only learned about it when it was taken from my account without permission. Highway robbery working with crooks.

Their rates are comparable, but that's where it stops. Once you sign the contract, they begin assessing fees that are in the contract but that they don't disclose in the offer, they leased me a terminal for 3 years for $20.00 a month. Our new processor (with rates basically the same) sold me a new machine for $200.00. They also charge a $495.00 early termination fee. First Capital Payments may follow the letter of the law, but they are unethical and I would highly recommend staying far, far away from them!

They call u 100 times to get u as a costumer and the make u call them 1000 times before answering. Treat u like u r no one. I did something stupid by leaving my old company and now I m paying for it. Stick to what u have. Worst costumer service ever.Jan 20 / 2018Read ur contract twice before signing. They will tell u something else and make u sign something else. I was told 12 month contract and was offered and signed a 3 years contract. Be aware.

5 star rating for first capital payments from me as a small business owner. I have a couple accounts with them and couldn’t be any happier. Excellent service from their salesman Bernabe Rivera. Bernie is what I call him, he has become not only a salesman to us but a good friend. If your a new account he walks you through everything and makes the process effortless. If it wasn’t for Bernie our business relationship with first capital would be non-existent. Highly recommend them if your trying to save money. Ask for Bernabe Rivera to make the process hassle free and professional.

The worst processing company ever. They are still charging my bank account monthly even though I closed my account with them. Will never recommend the processing company. Could someone tell me how I could sue this company?

Great service! Got tired of dealing with the 1000's of other companies out there, so glad I found these guys! Very personal service, no machines to deal with, just actual people and on top of my needs! Also some of the best rates I've seen. Save yourself a lot of aggravation and some $$$ while your at it, highly recommended!

We have been using First Capital Payments for about a year now and so far everything has been great. I had an issue with EMV compliance and they took care of it in minutes. One phone call, real person, no transfer, none of this press 1 for this or 2 for that, same person that picked up solved the problem. The account managers were very accommodating when I signed up. They gave me a week to test out a couple different POS systems. I switched banks and part of that process was a credit card processing consultation. The bank consultant said it was the only time he has ever had to turn down a customer because he just couldn't beat the rates. I know people hate Credit Card processors, If you are a business owner you get multiple calls a day.... I would imagine that the less than desirable reviews come from the pent up frustration people have about the industry in general. These are good guys, they are local, they have great rates and great service. Very satisfied.
