Doug Mendenhall got angry with me when I wouldn't immediately sign loan disclosures in which the total cost at closing line item and property tax line item were off by $1000. He had sent me a corrected PDF, but the document that I was signing was not corrected, and he refused to do the extra work to update the document. He said either I trust him and sign it, or we're done, and then he hung up the phone on me. Doug is a top producer in Oregon, and I think Doug might be a good broker for experienced buyers. For first time buyers who want to try to understand what they are signing, and who need more time and attention, I would not recommend him. This incident made me feel absolutely terrible. Will be switching to my realtor's recommended broker.
