Bad business is conducted at this location. The MGR Maria is shady and will try to con you out of your car. The terms and conditions are not fully stated by her at the beginning of the loan and she will manipulate your ignorance to over pay more than the loan terms and or repo your car. I made consecutive payments for 11 months. Every month I payed granted some were late but always payed every month. The loan term was 12 months, At the 11th month I asked what was my ballance because I felt I should be at the end of my terms. Maria informed me I still owed 1200.00 from a 1400.00 loan. I was blown away because every month I payed 288.00 for the last 11 months and should be almost finished with the payback amount. Every month I payed, Maria never stated anything about my loan nor any penalties. She simply stated "Thank you for your payment" as if everything was ok. After 11 months of paying and my inquiry she finally disclosed to me that if I'm one day late with my payment they would automatically add 30 days of extra Interest and late fees to my account. I asked to speak to the manager or owner and was put off to other branch managers to help the problem but no one with higher authority than Maria. After frustration of the situation in spending a lot of time in trying to speak with someone about the situation someone finally gave me what they called a "settlement" and instead of paying 1200 for my payoff amount I would only owe 1000.00. Mind you I've already payed 3,168 for a 1400.00 loan at that point. During the last thousand dollars of my "Settlement" process conducted over the next few months Maria was very irritable with me gave poor customer service and acted as if I infringed and took something from her. After paying off my loan I was told it would take 7 to 10 business days for me to receive my title. After almost a month I did not recieve my title. I gave Fast Cash Title Loans a call and I was told by another employee that Maria was not in the office yet but my file said that the title had been mailed out over a week ago. I informed that employee that I had not received it and it was a concern. That employee told me that they would take my number and give me a call back in a few hours to inform me on what was going on, that was 10am. By 3 p.m. I had not received a call so I called back. At this point Maria was in the office. Maria was extremely nasty and stated that if I had done it the way she wanted me to do the process that I wouldn't be going through all this and that I had to wait for my title to be returned to me at their diligence. At that point I was furious at the situation and demanded that I get my title back. After a few minutes of arguing back and forth Maria finally stated that she would give me my title back and to come pick it up. I have reported this business and Maria to the Better Business Bureau, the Virginia Attorney General and have notified the consumer protection hotline of VA. I fully understand that title loans are a predatory loan but when the employees take it as a personal Vendetta to screw everyone over it makes it much worse. I would strongly discourage anyone from doing business with them and if you do need a title loan to find another company that is not trying to squeeze every dollar out of you and make you lose your vehicle.
