I am very disappointing by the treatment I received from this business. I am a regular customer and have been cashing my paycheck for many years there. The last time I cashed by paycheck was in 2017 as I moved from the area however I went on July 28th to cash my paycheck and I feel discriminated against and I am very upset. As I walked up to receive service one of the two employees gave me a look. She seemed like she was looking at a two-headed monster. I am a 37 year old woman with a full sleeve tattoo. Not a two-headed monster. After she stared at my check for about 5 minutes and spoke to the other employee she states she couldn't cash my check. It's their policy to confirm the check with the employer, either if it's a new customer (which I am not) or a new check. I stated, no problem - they can call my employer and do so. However they then stated they couldn't find the information to call them. Why not? Google exists. I gave them the phone number right from the Google maps web page but I guess since I have tattoos I might look to them that I am going to give a fraudulent check. They stated still that they wouldn't cash the check and that it didn't matter that I had been there every week from 2015-2017 to cash my check. Like I stated all they had to do to fulfill their job duties to confirm the check, drawn from Bank of America, is call my employer but they never picked up the phone. They looked at me like I had two heads and was the worst person in the world. They lost a customer along with the check fee they would have gained from me cashing my checks there each week. If you are a white woman, 37 with tattoos please don't bother going here because they are either thinking your a criminal or they are just too plain lazy to do their jobs. By the way - I went right across the street and received superb service from the employee at Check Cash Depot where she actually took the time to call my employer and got verification for my paycheck.
