Change Healthcare needs to be investigated by the OFCCP. I would give this organization zero stars if it were an option. This has been the worst company I worked for in my career. As a former Contract Recruiter with PeopleScout/Change Healthcare, I would advise anyone not to work for Change Healthcare because their practices are discriminatory. They try to hide it under the guise of not hiring anyone that requires H1B but recruiters have been advised to not submit candidates if they have education or work experience in a particular demographic. When I would submit candidates that had names that were common in a certain demographic, I would be asked if they were H1B candidates. Even if they weren’t, I was told on numerous occasions that certain candidates wouldn’t be considered because they were probably hiding the fact they were H1B. When I asked if “No Sponsorship” should be added on the job description, it was told to me that legal wouldn’t allow it...so we were instructed to use discriminatory practices instead. Because I spoke up on numerous occasions and continued to submit qualified H1B candidates for hard to fill positions, I was terminated from my position. They are trying to say it was due to job performance but I met my metrics each week and received a great performance review back in February. They didn’t like the fact that as a woman of color, I was vocal about the recruiting practices within the organization. If you are a person of color, from eastern Asia or Middle East region, and/or required H1B sponsorship and you applied for a position with Change Healthcare in the past year and either didn’t make it past a phone screen or didn’t receive an interview, you need to investigate further. It is injustice!
