Overall Feedback:

Just realised that when I last changed my card machine 3 years ago and so no longer paid through an 'Elavon' account, my account with them was never cancelled. Yes I should have queried who this 'EMS' was who I paid money to every month, however, it wasn't' much every month and I glossed over it. Seems like they've been taking the 'minimum' payment fee for transactions for 3 years - even though I've made no transactions and haven't even got a card machine which pays money through them!! I've had no invoices because they 'didn't have my 'correct e mail' (so it should have bounced back each month) but it's not their policy to contact by post (they had my address). All in all, seems I've paid them over £1000 for a service that they knew I wasn't receiving. What shady dealers.

I can't believe the bad reviews are about the same company. I have had dreadful service from the two previous companies I used. I have received excellent service from Elavon. With the exception of weekends money banked one day is in my account the next day.

Outrageous Customer Service, there should be a 0 star option when reviewing companies such as these Rats! I was sold a Card Machine through RMS and when installed it was not compatible with my till System so was taken out immediately but not before the clueless Rep who sold it to me send me an email basically saying it's tough it doesn't work as I've already signed the Contract! I was refunded any payments made to RMS and the contract was deemed Void after speaking to their Customer Service who are slightly more understsnding, however, I was told there was nothing more I needed to do. While looking through my Bank Statements last week I saw I was being charged for something by Elavon and called them to investigate as I have never dealt with them to my knowledge, it became apparent this was due to the missold Card Machine through RMS as Elavon process payments for them, I explained the situation and was assured it would all be sorted out. I have received an email today stating my account has been closed as RMS have confirmed the mistake but there was no mention of refunding the payments that have been debited for the service I haven't used over the last 9 months bearing in mind I have never received a statement from them hence I did not know they had even set up a Direct Debit and had access to my acount. Apparently I am not entitled to be refunded the Money that has been taken by mistake through a mis sold Card Machine! This is nothing more than Daylight Robbery. I would not touch either of these disgusting companies with a Barge pole and wouldn't advise anyone else to either. The email I received back when asking for MY Money to be refunded was Cocky and dismissive. These people need shutting down as they seem to think they can take from others with no consequence!EDIT: Have just read everyone else's Reviews whay can i say apart from I am truly shocked! How do they get away with it?????

I've been with Elavon for 7 years and only had to phone a couple of times. I think their customer service is good. It does pay off, however, to keep all your merchant receipts and reports as proof should you need it. But that counts for all businesses you're dealing with.The reason I'm giving 4 stars and not five, is because their website is not very good and hard to navigate.

Just don't do it! Dealing with Elavon is simply a nasty experience. I've had two merchant accounts with them. Requirements conflict and answers contradict.

I got signed up with Elavon through Sage Pay. It was a nightmare of an experience from the start. I have now left and moved on to a new provider.The staff have no idea what is going on and just pass the buck whenever possible.I would never recommend Evavon to anyone!
