Lots to do there and historic. I happen to be helping build the new visitor center located near the fountain. The building was a bank at one time.

A very stately and scenic town - once burned down during the Civil War, is totally rebuilt and thriving. Take the time to learn about this historic and important little city!

My family attended the ice fest most recently and the downtown atmosphere was wonderful. Honestly, we have never been to downtown Chambersburg before but checking out the shops during the festival has peaked our interest to go back for shopping. Not to mention check out their really cool theater that appears to be remnant of the older days.
