Stay away from Datainsure Merchant Solutions at all costs!I was a customer of Datainsure for a few years but due to their higher fees I requested a cancellation of my account. Datainsure provided cancellation forms which I promptly completed and returned to them (via fax, as they required) almost 4 years ago. After more than 2 years (26 months) of Datainsure charging my bank account monthly Merchant fees and PCI compliance fees they finally cancelled my account but would not provide a refund of those fees (over $60 a month x 26 months). We had not used their services and had cancelled the account but they continued to refuse any refund. I own a small business and was fed up with the long drawn out fight and had no reasonable method to fight for my money because they are not in my state. Now, 18 months later our accountant found Datainsure is still charging one of our bank accounts a monthly $20 "Plug In" fee and has continued doing so since the merchant account was formally cancelled. Datainsure says they have no way to look up the charge on their end and we had to provide bank statements to prove the charges. How can a company not be able to find who they are charging every month?? I provided a bank statement showing their charges and received a reply that they would pay me a settlement of $120 if I would agree to go away. This after soaking me for more than $3500 over 4 years. I replied with a resounding "NO". They even offered to have their CEO call me to discuss this issue (which I agreed to answer their call) and the CEO never called. Now, they aren't responding to my messages anymore. I have since filed a complaint with the BBB which DataInsure hasn't responded to and I expect they won't. So, I have filed a formal complaint with the Arizona Attorney Generals Office - division of Consumer Affairs and Fraud. I provided my cancellation request from 4 years ago, email chain, and bank statements showing the charges for many years.Anyway, now we wait to find out if they (Datainsure) will refund any of the fees they have charged for services they never provided. I'm very frustrated to say the least. All I have asked is DataInsure provide a full refund for services they never provided. Isn't that simple and fair? Still no resolution or response from Datainsure! Stay away from DataInsure at all costs!
