This is by far the worst collections agency that I have ever dealt with. They are not wiling to work out ANY arrangements what so ever!!! Hard times on alot of good people and then we have to deal with such unprofessional and unrealistic people like COLLECTION BUREAU OF AMERICA!! I hope that I never have to deal with your company ever again, I hope no one has to deal with your company ever. JESSE JAMES AT LEAST HAD A GUN!! Good luck stay in business!! Every crook gets caughr eventually! 👏👏

I wouldn’t recommend anyone dealing with this company. They hung up on me when I tried to figure out what they were talking about. I called again and they transferred me to a line that just rang and would never be answered. I at least got the gist of it and called the City department in question directly. It was a ticket supposedly on my mom’s car for parking on a street during street sweeping, more than two years ago while she was living 6 hours away. The City Street Sweeping people say they never turned her case over to Collections and don’t know why the Collection company was contacting her and quoting a higher amount owed. I don’t know how they got my phone number since my mother moved up here less than a year ago and the car is now registered in my name and they were calling for my mom using her full name. The whole situation with the citation in the first place was probably a mistake in writing down the license plate number and the ticket was dismissed within a day of my call. It will be interesting to see if Collection Bureau tries again.

I mean it is a collection place I don't expect to have great experiences. But I spoke with Nicholette(I hope that spelling is correct). She was helpful, thorough and I was very appreciative of her help! My debt was paid . Just ask for her if calling for DS water you will have a better experience.

I have been trying to resolve a dispute for years I have sent many dispute letters and have never heard back this collection amount is hurting my credit they will not help me and when I called him I’m hung up on. Today the lady spoke over me never let me speak and then hung up on me, I asked what happen with my last dispute and why is it still on my credit and she didn’t know and told me to write another one I don’t have time for this.
