I am of the opinion that Clover is a scam. A salesperson named Erica took my personal information (for some reason, this company wants both EIN and SSN). Told me that the underwriting team would get back to me by Friday at 3pm. Never happened. I called the following Monday. Ericas' coworker claimed that she knows Erica and that they are still waiting on the underwriting team. Two weeks later, still no response. Will be filing a complaint with local and state governments next. It is illegal to obtain someone's personal information for determining credit worthiness (e.g. providing a POS), without notifying that person of the outcome.
