I had a check from the government in excess of 40k dollars. I had an account with us bank. Us bank told me as i tried to deposit the check, they put a 6 day hold on the check. I thought that was rediculous. I went to the credit union, where i had been banking for 40 years. I had closed my account around 6 years ago due to financial difficulty.At the credit union i met with a gal named geanice. She was very through. We even talked fishing. Opened a new account for me, deposited the check, and i had instant access to my money, all of it. City and county credit union is far superior to other banks, in my opinion. It will be my bank till death.

CCCU is a good bank, except for two things. The first is their hours of operation as they don't ooen until 9 am (wish the drive up was open at 8) and if something comes thru in the morning for payment and your deposit comes in after it, they charge you the overdraft fee immediately instead of waiting until the end of the business day, like other banks do. The bank needs to rethink these two things and it'd be a great bank. I took my business to snother bank because these things were costing me too much.

I worked exclusively with TJ to secure a mortgage for my mother's new home. While obtaining a loan and moving is typically a stressful process; in this case it was not. TJ was easy to work with, knowledgeable, and his communications were prompt, clear and informative. I would absolutely recommend working with TJ if you are looking to secure a mortgage.

I work for a dealership and EVERY single time I have to call them it's a pain. They don't process paperwork in a timely manner and they've become a joke in my office. I will never work with them personally and I'll only call them when my job demands it.
