We have used this company numerous times over the years. However this last experience left a bad taste in my mouth. We needed a repair, understood the part was not available on the weekend, but when they were able to do the repair they charged me almost 3x the cost of the part for a 10 minute labor job. This felt like I was being taken advantage of since I needed heat. After talking to the owner I will be receiving a partial refund.

I was impressed with the tablet technology they used to do my quote, adjusting it as we discussed which options I wanted and had a printed quote immediately. They were very professional and service oriented. Did a fabulous job on the installation and everything is working perfectly. I would highly recommend them. I had used a different company to replace the hvac unit at my office and McDuffee was a much better choice.

When we bought our house we immediately planned to change our heater and air conditioning unit. I shopped around and got a couple of quotes from Four Seasons, Charles McDuffee and another local vendor. We ended up choosing Charles McDuffee. Steve McDuffee came to our house to check what we currently and needs to be repaired and replaced. He actually suggested that we need to have a new humidifier since the existing one that we have looks like it will breakdown in the next couple of months. The shopping for vendor/quote started right in the Spring of 2014 but we didn’t get the furnace installed until September of that year. Steve didn’t push us to do it immediately, he gave us a good price and financing options. Installation was great too, they were on time and cleaned up everything that they used both in the basement and outside. Steve on the other hand never got tired of going back and forth in our house for the paperworks, although email would work he said he likes interacting with the customers which is a big plus for us. This year we are having the first maintenance and when I called for schedule I asked about Steve they said he just pass away earlier this year. He was a good sales man and represents the company really well. I will highly recommend this company to anyone who will need their services.

Furnace didn't work on a Sunday late in the afternoon. Ryan came out and got it started for me, but showed me what was happening and recommended replacing my 60 yr old furnace, which I agreed made sense. Steve M came out and walked through each and every option to get me a furnace that worked for my situation. Steve was very thorough and was able to answer every question to my satisfaction. By Wednesday, Mike and Steve A were out at 8AM to install the new furnace, once again walking me through each detail and very thorough. The did a remarkable job, got the old huge furnace out and the new one installed by 3PM. They cleaned up the mess very well, took everything away, explained how everything works. I am very satisfied with Charles McDuffee Co and would definitely recommend them!
