Bought two laptops one Macbook pro and one Macbook, the Macbook pro has no WiFi hardware, faulty disc drive, the Macbook has a dead charger, I contacted them via email to be told to bring it back, problem is we live 71 miles away and this would cost me £50 to drive there to return the item also my time. The shop should check these items before they sell them to the public, I now have to get the Macbook pro repaired and buy a charger, the least they could have done was to send us a charger and offer to pay for the repairs, a expensive lesson. So if you buy from them just be extra careful. The person that served us was great however she tried hard to get a member of staff to help her out and they could not be bothered, we spent a lot of money with them. It is unfortunate I can only give one star. This shop has nothing to do with Cash Generator, you can contact the head office for proof. (The name of this shop is Regenerate-it)

I visited this flea market on 05/02/2018 the staff are very rude and very unfriendly and extremely unprofessional and not helpful at all. All the stock is in very bad condition and very overpriced and they are not willing to budge on price at all and when you try to haggle on the prices they makes you feel very small and gives you attitude and comes out with all sorts of lies. The staff seemed to be very depressed and don’t want to be there. I enquired about a iPad music mixing decks and asked what accessories came with it and straight away they started saying that it was very cheap and I cannot expected too get any accessories at that price which put me on my on my guard straight away considering I didn’t ask about the price. It was priced at £160, so I took a couple of pictures and went outside and checked online on price and what accessories came with it and was surprised to see the price and exactly what it came with it , the mane things was an iPad IOS MID lead ( which it will not work with out it and it is £40 for a new one) and It also came with dj software ( which was also £80 for new) plus there was over accessories including numerous leads including power adapter and instructions and a box and all that was £220 brand new. So I went back in and took it to the counter and showed them the price and what accessories it came with and asked if it even had a power adapter and was told no, so I asked if they could do a better price and at that point the manager was called over and I then explained everything to him and he still tried to convince me that I was getting a bargain at £160 and he offered to take £1 off and just laughed and said I could take it home for £159 or leave it and go home and started laughing again I felt very insulted and felt like they were trying to mug me I would never go to that shop again or any over of their shops and I’d advise anyone else to do the same if you want anything at a good price and especially if you are in Barry there are at least 4 more secondhand stores which are much better and friendly staff and helpful and good prices.DO NOT GO TO CASH CONVERTERS 20-22 HOLTON ROAD BARRY CF63 4HD WARNING THEY HAVE CHANGE THEIR NAME CANT REMEMBER WHAT TO BUT SAME SHOP SAME STAFF SAME JUNK SAME ATTITUDE DIFFERENT NAME, DONT GO THERE, THERE ARE MUCH BETTER PLACES IN BARRY TO GO. THEY GIVE BARRY A BAD REPUTATION !! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!

Lovely shop. Great customer services. All employees are nice and friendly. Always comes over to speak to you you and always offer there assistance. The have also readjusted there prices due to new competition in area and know offers the best prices on most mobile phones console and games.

Bought an xbox one three months ago and the disc drive started to act up. I called the store to see what they could do and was told it was wear and tear. Absolute jokers here will never buy or advise anyone to do the same.On the same street there's two more similar shops with much better service and deals. Avoid cash gen Barry at all costs
