Cash Converters South Melbourne is a very lovely store with an eclectic variety and stock of products ranging from jewelry, stereos, laptops, smartphones, good quality products. The store exemplifies great friendly helpful customer service, whether be personal finance, retail or buys and loans, staff are very friendly, polite, courteous, patient, understanding and informative. In the Personal Finance department, Darren and Mohammed are excellent, exemplary fantastic, team members, their diligence, consideration, patience and understanding with customers for Personal Finance at South Melbourne is excellent and they lead the charge with excellent friendly customer service and great relationship and repoire with customers. If you are in the city, recommend drop in the store.

Was sold a NON-AUTHENTIC Louis Vuitton mens wallet!!! This has definitely made me lose any confidence in buying from Cash Converters now.When I returned the wallet, the staff member (Tim) gave some of the worst customer service I've ever received. Was totally unsympathetic to my situation.Just a horrible experience!

Don't waste your time VERY EXPENSIVE. Cheaper to buy BRAND NEW online. I couldn't believe how OVER PRICED they are and they won't negotiate even when you show them the same product cheaper elsewhere. I don't know how this shop survives because it is so expensive!! RIP OFF AVOID - I WOULD GIVE IT 0 STARS but you are forced to provide a star.

Not a bad Cashies at all and probably right there with the Prahran (which had had its own issues decades back) store as well. For a CBD store it's fine with a decent section of goods and trinkets. It's no outer melbourne variant because we all they're the best ones, if your prepared to travel but it's still pretty neat for a local one though. I can't help and think that maybe this store deserves a bigger showroom with more gear/stuff?! But that's probably due to the location than the franchise itself. Excellent but it needs to be in a bigger/better building!

Great customer service, all staff are so very helpful which is strange as they work in such a challenging environment with difficult customers. The store manager was lovely and the young man that helped me in retail went above and beyond. Highly recommended! A+
